  • He was born into a family of bureaucrats.

  • Satyadeep Misra after completing his formal education appeared for the UPSC Civil Service Examination (CSE) and was allotted the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). However, he later quit the service after ten months of service.
  • As an IRS officer, he served in the post of commissioner.
  • After leaving service, he relocated to New Delhi, where he began practising corporate law. He even served the Government of India for some time but later left his well-paying job as a lawyer to relocate to Mumbai. He practised law for 12 years.
  • He used to work as the India Counsel of the Sun Group.
  • While working as a lawyer, he appeared in shows such as The Great Escape and Living in The Edge.
  • His first salary as a lawyer was Rs. 8000 which he received while working as a junior associate with a law firm in New Delhi.

  • He came to Mumbai in 2008 to pursue a career in the Hindi film industry.
