Some Lesser Known Facts About Tinu Verma
- Tinu started his career in 1972 with the film Baazigar, in which he played the role of a horse trainer.
- After that, he worked as a stunt choreographer in many films like Ganga Devi, Shootout at Wadala, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, Singh Saab the Great, etc.
- His father ”supplied” horses to the Bollywood Industry and was also a popular stunt man in the 1960-1970.
- He had worked as an action director in the famous TV show Suryaputra Karn (2015-2016).
- Apart from being an actor and director, he is also a good writer; he wrote the stories of the famous films Maa Tujhhe Salaam (2002) and This Weekend (2012).
- In July 2022, in a conversation with veteran actor Mukesh Khanna, Tinu Verma revealed that he ‘slapped’ Kapil Sharma and threw him off the set of the Bollywood film Gadar. Reportedly, Kapil Sharma had a small role in Sunny Deol‘s Gadar; however, his scene could not make the final cut. While giving the reason behind this act, Tinu said that during the shoot of a scene for the film, when he asked the crowd to rush in the direction of the train, everyone did so except Kapil who ran in the opposite direction due to which they had to re-shoot the scene, and it angered Tinu.
